Illumination of the Beatus Rhenanus bridge in Strasbourg / Kehl
This bridge on the Rhine was required when the Strasbourg public transport network to Germany was extended. The extension of the D line for the tram to Kehl required building this spectacular structure of 290m long and 16m wide.
The breathtaking bridge is optimised for trams, pedestrians and cyclists and an eco-friendly project that unveils all of its beauty and symbolism when the night falls and the colours appear. The 242 X-LINE QUATTRO RGBW light up the 20-meter high arches with different scenarios: the national colours of Germany or France, plain white or all pink for the event of the Strasbourgeoise, an awareness campaign for breast cancer.
